VGMarket Surveys is working with Quibblo to get the word out about their market survey program. With VGMarket, you can earn cash and rewards by providing marketing feedback for their online surveys about games and gaming.

They created the “Which Super Mario Brothers Character Are You?” personality test app, using SnapApp. You can take the quiz now on Quibblo.com’s homepage, where it will run through Friday!

All day today, ReachOut.com, a project by the Inspire USA Foundation, will be running their custom made personality test app on the Quibblo.com homepage. The personality test, “What Kind of Friend Are You?” is designed to engage the teen and tween audience that primarily composes Quibblo.com’s online community.

ReachOut.com is a non-profit organization that helps teens and young adults cope with difficult situations that they may not know how to handle on their own. Teens seeking council on issues such as bullying, drugs and alcohol, depression, relationships and more can visit their website and find out more information.

This personality test was created using SnapApp technology. Quibblo users then take the quiz and answer questions about issues that they’ve likely come across in their every day lives. ReachOut.com’s branding is prominently featured and there is a link included that users can use to access their site. Quibblo users can share their personality results with their friends and continue the conversation.

When we redesigned Quibblo, we streamlined our process a bit to make things look cleaner. That means the sidebar where we used to house the Post this Quiz code has been replaced by quizzes that we think our users would like to take.

But you can still post your quiz! It’s easy.

Click the Share This button next to the quiz you want to share.

Select the “Post This Quiz Widget” option where you can grab code to paste into your blog, website, or social network profile. Depending on where you want to put the quiz, you may even be able to enter your login info and post it directly to your page without leaving Quibblo.

You may have noticed Quibblo has been a bit slow lately. We’re working on improving things on our end, but to do this, the site will be down for about 30 minutes early tomorrow morning 4am-5am EST. We’ve got some pretty great users on Quibblo. Some of our users are so great that they’ve caught our attention and have been selected as featured members.

A featured member is highlighted on the home page of Quibblo. This means that they get a LOT of attention from users who want to take their quizzes, read their stories, and become their friends.

So how do you become a featured member?

Well, first of all, you need to write quizzes and stories! We want our users to have something to do when they get to your profile page, so write some fun quizzes for them to take or cool stories for them to read.

Secondly, you need to have a profile picture. A profile picture is a great way to attach your personality to your profile. Why don’t you have one?!

Third, you need to be nice and engaging. You’ll get a ton of friend requests, so we hope our featured member can handle being the most popular person on Quibblo for the day. That means going on Quibblo regularly, accepting friend requests, and being a kind and positive person. (You guys don’t like bullies, and neither do we!)

Add style to your content on Quibblo with formatting!

Most of you already know you can use bold, italics and underline on your quizzes and comments, but now you can do it in your story text too!

It’s easy, all you have to do is put a symbol on either side of the word or phrase you want highlighted.

For example, you can italicize a word by adding slashes (/) on either side of the word, like /this/

Here are all of our formatting options:

• /italics/ makes italics
• *bold* makes bold
• _underline_ makes underlined text

Thanks to your help, we’ve tracked down and fixed another couple bugs on Quibblo.

• Some people reported that links in Quiz Invitations were broken, and they weren’t taking you to the quiz.  Links should be working now.
• Some people reported that when they opened up a Saved Draft of a personality quiz, they couldn’t see all the personality types.  Now those personality types should all be there when you open a saved draft.

Thanks for your help finding these bugs.  If you ever find something’s not working right on Quibblo, send a message to Quibblo, or send an email to Contact Us.  Remember, it helps if you can tell us what kind of internet browser you’re using and what exactly you were trying to do when the problem happened.

For the past week, since we updated the page where you send quiz invitations from, there has been a problem with Quiz Invitations getting delivered.  If you sent quiz invitations during the past week, they got sort of “stuck” or “backed up”.  We have fixed the problem, and all the old quiz invitations from the past week are being delivered right now.  Any new quiz invitations you send should be delivered correctly.  Sorry for any trouble this caused.  Please let us know if you’re still having any problems.

Since we released stories a few weeks ago, lots of you have asked, What About Story Invitations! Well, now we’ve got ‘em, and while we were at it, we made invitations even better and easier to use.

When you create a quiz or story, you want lots of people to come and take it.   Here at Quibblo, we want to help you get more people to take your quiz, which is why we made the new sharing and invitation tools.  Here’s how sharing works after you make a quiz or story:

1. You can now post a link to your quiz or story as a status update on Facebook or Twitter.
2. You can send quiz and story invitations to your Quibblo friends or send an email quiz invitation to anyone.
3. If you create a quiz, poll, or survey you also have the option to post the whole quiz on a blog or other site using the quiz widget.

A lot of people have asked us How do I put my quiz on Facebook? Now, when you make a new quiz or story, just click the “Share This” button to post a link to it on Facebook.  Click the button, and you’ll see a window like this:

Check the Facebook box (or Twitter, MySpace, Yahoo, whichever you like), and click “Share”.  Your quiz will be automatically posted, and it’ll look like this:
