Enter Quibblo Writing Contest #12

Love Is In the Air

Valentine’s Day approacheth, so here’s your romance-related topic:

Start your writing with a Valentine’s Day poem (at least 12 lines long) that your character finds (in a bottle, in a diary, in your locker, or…?). Your story goes back and describes how the poem came to be written (yesterday, a year ago, a century ago, or…?) and then moves forward to show how your character responds as a result of finding it. Does a relationship ensue? Does it end well? Only you know the answer. Now tell us!

Give it an interesting title (don’t include “Quibblo’s Contest,” “QC,” or similar), and remember to:

  • Check spelling and grammar
  • Hit “Enter” twice after every paragraph, for readability
  • Tag it with WC12 when you’re sure it’s finished
  • Share it with all your friends, both on and off Quibblo

On February 12, we’ll select three winners to showcase on the Quibblo home page. Let’s start writing!

Deadline: 11:59 pm (EST), Sunday, February 10, 2013.
