In order to improve our service, we’ll be migrating our data system over the weekend, June 6-8. Some of you may experience some intermittent downtime while you’re on Quibblo during those days.
Thanks for your patience while we undergo this change!
If you have come across any Quibblo polls, quizzes, surveys, or personality tests on MySpace, you may have come across one very scary warning when you went to submit your answers. The big red warning was probably scary enough to send you running the other way, never to see the wonders of Quibblo that awaited you on the other side.

Contrary to what the big bad warning would have you think, we were never trying to steal your personal information or do anything bad. However, it clearly was not a great warning to see, when all you wanted to do was take some quizzes…so we fixed it!
All embed code for MySpace will now allow users to answer those burning questions you ask with your Quibblets, without scaring the pants off of them. Translation: no more scary warnings!
It is important to note though, that if you have the old MySpace code up on your profile, the big bad warnings will still show. You need to go into your profile and update the Quibblets with the brand new code, which can be found by clicking the “myspace” link on any Quibblet page.
Hey all of you Quibblites out there, just wanted to pass along a monthly update and bring you up to speed on some little tweaks, twists, changes and improvements we have made to the site. Here is what we rolled out this week:
- In Page Flagging - All content flagging for offensive content will happen in-page now, with a single click. Instead of being taken to a contact form, simply click the little flag icon (
) next to any offensive quiz or comment, and without ever leaving the page, the content will be reported to us with just one click! Of course don’t abuse the system and flag everything you see, but definitely click that little image when something clearly crosses the line. Obviously deciding what content to flag is subjective, and Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart put it best when he said (regarding pornography) “I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material but I know it when I see it“….wise words. - Smarter Login - Now when logging into Quibblo from any random page, you will be returned to said random page once logged in. No more clicking around after login to get back to where you were. Just a little annoying issue, but hey…those can be the worst kind! Consider it fixed.
- Storing Of Individual Results - Previously, when a user (that’s you!) had taken a quiz, we would only show your results to you immediately following your completion of the quiz, and not when you would go back later to the same quiz. Now, should you want to go back and see how you did on that Seinfeld Trivia Quiz that you took a few weeks back, your score is displayed atop the overall community results.
Those are the biggies for now, but as always, we are continuing to work hard at making Quibblo the easiest to use and coolest quiz site on the net.
Stay tuned, as we plan on re-launching the site with a whole slick-ified new look in the coming weeks.
Now as always, go take a quiz!
And now you don’t need to live with them forever, at least not when it comes to your Quibblo content. We have added some functionality that lets you edit your content, provided you do so within the alloted time.
After you create content, you will see an orange bar with a countdown and “edit’ link, where you can make changes and fix errors in your content, before it goes out to the world.

The limit to make changes is currently set at 20 minutes, so be sure and check your work quickly! Also be aware that editing your content will reset all responses.
Hey everyone, we made some little changes to the site that you may or may not have noticed, but hopefully you will find them to be improvements. Here is what is new and enhanced as of today:
- Shortened SignUp Form, so now you can become a Quibblo member, and enjoy all of the benefits of membership, with only the bare-bones sign up info. What are you waiting for? Go sign up!
- We now insert age and gender questions into all quizzes for non-logged in users. Collecting this information from all quiz takers will allow us to provide some neat insight into how different ages and genders answer the questions that you ask them! This is coming soon…
- We cleaned up some bugginess in style, particularly bugginess that was affecting you IE users. Be sure and ping us if you still see anything that looks out of whack.
- No more cheating on quizzes! You can no longer skip to the answers and then go back and take a quiz with your newfound knowledge of the correct choices!
- Related quizzes are now shown at the bottom of all quiz results pages, which should help you find other fun quizzes that we think you will like, based on your quiz taking behavior.
- IM to a friend links are now part of the “share” options for all quizzes. Find a quiz you like? Boom! IM it to your friend with two clicks.
Lots more to come, so stay tuned. In the meantime, go take a quiz!
